The drains all are finally open, even though the engineer has had to go around and open every single one herself, manually. The water is flowing out of the colony now, and the group that infiltrated the cave has returned battered and bruised, but alive and victorious.

"Ms. Sasha," the derpy medic asks hours later, looking to the engineer with bright, inquisitive eyes. "That was a lot of rain... do you think we'll have snow next time?"
Looking down from where they sit atop their favorite hill, and watching the latest ship bringing in new colonists, the engineer just shakes her head. "For all of our sakes, Vee, I hope not."
