The sheriff explains his situation. He had found a new cave system, and it was filled to the brim with undesirables. Upon fleeing he'd been "blown the hell up" in his own words. As he and the military weren't exactly on speaking terms at the moment, and they'd pulled his deputies to other tasks and other colonies, he'd had to assemble a crack team to help him go clear out the caves.
His team lineup: A male stripper, a bar-tending robot, a brightly coloured engineer, a saleswoman, and the chief medical officer.
"And you..." the sheriff finished, pointing to the derpy medic and her room mate.
It was then that the engineer's pager went off. "This isn't good," the engineer remarked, "My PDA is blowing up with messages from all over New Hayden. The drains are backing up, and we've got flooding everywhere. I think I'm going to have to decline. The Military probably won't be able to figure this out without my help."
"I'll go blow up caves!!" the derpy medic chirped. "EXPLOSIONS!!!"
"We'd better get to them before they get to us," the sheriff remarked, and, with his team, headed back out into the rain.
