Back at home in the RezDisk (or Residential District as anyone who could speak properly would call it,) Capel paced, waiting. Once she had the Annihilator back, she could drive around really really fast and maybe not get arrested this time. That would be fun, and she wouldn't feel quite as worthless once she had her car again...
"You're wearing a hole in the carpet..." Koto pointed out. "Why not sit with me, we can have some tea and just wait it out?"
Normally, she would have petulantly yelled at him, but his expression softened her resolve, and she sat with him.
"Do you think Capel's life is functioning optimally?" she mumbled into her tea cup.
"Honestly, you're a hot mess," Koto admitted, brows raised slightly, "but you're my sister, and I'm a hot mess, too. We just show it in different ways. You show it by losing your license and punching people on the street--"
"And crying lots," Capel interjected.
"And that," said Koto, rolling his eyes.
"How are you showing hot mess?" Capel asked, arms folded.
"...I don't," Koto said matter of factly. That was when both of their PDAs rang at once.
A strange message appeared on the holo-screen. "You. Last of the Tsu'ghui. I have captured the Bartender, Joey. If you do not come to this location in approximately one hour, you will never see him again."
An address appeared below the message.
