"Are you doing okay? I haven't heard from you in weeks..."
Sasha's voice sounded troubled, even from the other end of the audiocall.
"Capel is fine. Is doing good. Please stop ask if is doing okay."
Capel had re-stated this each time Sasha had called. She normally took the calls up here on a hill above the city, and usually only in the early AM. No one could see her cry.
In a few days, she'd have her drivers license back again, and this time she'd (probably) keep it.
Then, maybe she could ignore the audiocalls. Well, that was a lie, but at least she'd feel better about herself, and living on her own.
