"You *let* them catch you?" Roy demands, looking through the bars at Elza. She's still as beautiful as she was when they met in the service during the Robowars. The scars she bears from when the rebels took her DNA and wounded her don't diminish that. He's been looking at that face for a while now -- Capel and Qeshi have it too, after all. Fox-people are always very beautiful.
"Pfff... no? Whoy would I do tha', ma'e?" Elza says, looking pouty. "Oll par've the plan. I came 'ere to see our son, and 'e's in the service."
"General Priscilla tells me that you had some kind of warning, too? About a hit put out on a Major General of the federation military?"
Elza rolls her eye. "Tch. Yeah. I don't wan' anyone to ge' kil't. I used to be in the service afteroll. We served alongsoide Kellen. Far as I can tell, i's a Tsu'ghui job. You know wot tha' means."
"I've already encountered the unit," Roy admits, looking uneasy. "Reports have been filed, but all we can do is put a security detail on Kellen.
"Make shore i's a big one, ma'e. I know wot the Tsu'ghui are capable of. Also, um... fanks for the cell key, ol' chum."
"Please don't get anyone killed this time, Elza..." Roy says with a sigh. "I don't want this blamed on me."
