Capel chased the culprit to uptown, which had once been a pretty nice district. In fact, it sort of still was. There were still shops and such around here, although most had laser bars over their windows. There was an awful lot of foot traffic around here, too, and that often made it easy for wallet snatchers and muggers and the like to disappear into the crowd. The neighborhood was getting rougher by the day, and Capel grew tired of seeing honest people having to deal with that.
She caught the wallet snatcher in an alley, hit him over the head with a trashcan, and rifled through his pockets. She found an awful lot of wallets in there! There was no way she could return them all!
In the end, she dumped him in a dumpster, and anonymously dropped all the wallets at the nearest police station (which might have been closed?) Perhaps now would be a good time to visit the mall and buy things she didn't need.
