Back Where I Ought To Be

about

Capel had been bred along with Koto to do one thing -- kill. She didn't like the feeling of doing it, and she knew Koto liked it even less, but they were good at it, at least. There was something about taking on a room full people with murder in their eyes that felt cathartic. It was her or them. She was back where she belonged. Back in the fray. It had felt kind of good on the elevator, and that had scared her. This felt better, and that scared her more. She knew these were bad people though... so that made it right, didn't it?
Maybe. Probably not, but it was necessary.

By the time she, Koto, and Sasha had taken everyone else in the room down, Joey had slipped free from wherever or however he'd been held, and smashed a chair over the last punk's head.

"Hey! Wait!!!" Sasha shouted, but it was too late.
"You know that was their boss, right? I needed information from him!" she growled, hands on her hips.
Joey looked up, dazed. "Yeah I know who he is, that's why I hit him over the head, duh," he remarked, dusting his hands off. "His goons brought me here. What did you want to know from him and who are-"

Capel waved frantically to him. "HELLO FRIEND!!!" she barked.
"I should have let them kill me..." Joey muttered under his breath.
